Shaping Futures: Exploring Our Dynamic Curriculum

ADG School offers a unique blend of international and Indian curricula in the foundation years and follows the NCERT framework to prepare students for the CBSE All India Secondary Certificate Examination.

Our focus is on mastering core concepts, fostering advanced cognitive skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, independent research, collaboration, and effective argumentation. Students are active participants in the learning process, with assessments designed to provide constructive feedback and enhance academic growth.

Beyond academics, we emphasize practical skills and artistic, musical, literary, and cultural appreciation. Rooted in both Indian and Western traditions, our approach nurtures intellectual and emotional development, creating a dynamic fusion of Eastern and Western influences.

Foundational Stage

(Nursery – Class II)

The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) curriculum is designed to nurture each child’s unique potential. With a low student-teacher ratio and classrooms equipped with smart boards and multimedia tools, we cultivate an engaging and interactive learning environment. Our approach incorporates hands-on activities such as role-playing, nature walks, puzzles, clay modeling, sand and water play, music, and storytelling with moral values, fostering language and literacy skills, motor coordination, creativity, and cognitive growth while catering to multiple intelligences. Additionally, specialized learning spaces like the Discovery Room, Motor Sensory Play Area, and STEM Lab enhance the educational journey, ensuring a well-rounded and stimulating foundation for early learners.

Preparatory Stage

(Class III – V)

In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, our curriculum seamlessly integrates structured and flexible learning, ensuring a personalized approach to each child’s development. With a strong emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning, we cultivate linguistic, mathematical, and cognitive skills, empowering students to think critically and creatively. Leadership qualities are nurtured through Student Council, while participation in competitions, excursions, and international trips enriches their learning experience. To further expand their horizons, students in Grade V can choose a third language—German, French, or Sanskrit—enhancing their global and cultural awareness.

Middle Stage

(Class VI – VIII)

As students transition through early adolescence, they engage in a well-balanced blend of scholastic and co-scholastic modules. Our NEP 2020-aligned curriculum fosters critical thinking and deep subject understanding, integrating technology to enhance learning. An activity-based approach supports cognitive, social, ethical, and emotional development, ensuring holistic growth. Educational trips, both domestic and international, provide immersive learning experiences beyond the classroom. A wide array of co-curricular activities, including clubs, sports, arts, and robotics, complements hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and Olympiads.

Secondary Stage

(Class IX – XII)

Upcoming

The Senior Wing follows a practical and competency-based approach, in line with CBSE and Competency-Based Education (CBE) guidelines. Students participate in abstract, open-ended assignments and assessments that develop higher-order thinking skills, equipping them for board exams and competitive tests. The curriculum extends beyond academics, incorporating excursions and student exchange programs to enhance learning experiences and promote independence. Additionally, comprehensive career guidance, internships, and strong alumni support provide students with the necessary tools and mentorship for future success.
